JavaScript Instruments was founded in New York with a single conviction: most software problems are not engineering problems. They are product problems wearing engineering clothes.

Too many founders end up with systems that worked fine as prototypes but cannot survive a funding round, a real user base, or a pivot. The code shipped fast. The architecture was never designed for what came next.

We exist to fix that. We work with founders at the moment the existing system stops being an asset and starts being a liability, and we build the version that takes them to the next stage.

Since 2020 we have shipped products across SaaS, fintech, healthtech, edtech, and nonprofit technology. Our clients range from seed-stage founders prepping for Series A due diligence to post-exit operators building their next company.

We are based in New York and work with founders across the US, primarily in New York, Boston, Washington DC, and remotely.

We choose React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js because they are the most battle-tested stack for SaaS at every stage. No chasing trends, no introducing risk for its own sake.

We tell you what we can build, what it will cost, and how long it will take, before the contract, not after. If a project is not a fit, we say so.
